The members of the Islamic Association of DeSoto Texas use the unique language and school of thought of our late leader Imam W. Deen Mohammed (may the Mercy of Allah be upon him). The founding members evolved from a unique and historical past; descendants of slaves, Christianity, The Nation Of Islam, and arrived to the universally accepted ideas and concepts of the Holy Qur'an and our Prophet Muhammed (Peace Be Upon Him) without foreign influence or funding.
It is our unique history and recent circumstances that gives rise to our distinguished responsibility; to build a model community that addresses every facet of human life, and to be a witness that G'd is Most Just and Most Merciful, and we are to be an example to all of humanity .
Finally, it is because of the unalienable rights and liberties given to us by our Creator that we are law abiding citizens, and we stand against any enemy of these United States either foreign or domestic.
